France-based pianist Yonathan Avishai is a sophisticated performer known for his introspective, harmonically nuanced approach to modern creative jazz. Emerging in Europe in the late '90s, Avishai first came to wider recognition in the 2000s as a member of the Israeli jazz outfit Third World Love.
