Walt Weiskopf Quartet – A Landmark debut in Luxembourg
This November, Jazz Forum Luxembourg is thrilled to welcome back legendary saxophonist Walt Weiskopf for his first performance in the Grand Duchy in many years. Known for his fiery sound, lyrical phrasing, and intellectual depth, Weiskopf has carved out a remarkable career as performer, composer, and author. From his early days with the Buddy Rich Big Band to collaborations with Frank Sinatra, Steely Dan, Donald Fagen, Boz Scaggs, and Michael McDonald, his artistry has resonated with audiences worldwide.
More than a virtuoso soloist, Weiskopf is also the author of seven acclaimed books on jazz improvisation and has built a celebrated discography of original works and inspired reimaginings of standards.
