Gahler Goes Electric
Inspired by the electro, funk, and fusion jazz of the 60s and 70s, Gahler transitions from grand piano to vintage keyboards, channeling the sounds of Herbie Hancock's "Head Hunters." He blends the Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer, Hammond B-3, Moog synthesizer, and Hohner String Performer for a unique sound.
Exploring New Soundscapes with Star Trombonist Andy Hunter
A special highlight: Gahler was able to enlist the renowned New York jazz trombonist Andy Hunter for his Electric Project. Hunter, who has toured the world with Snarky Puppy, Richard Bona, and the Mingus Big Band, is currently a permanent member of the WDR Big Band in Cologne.
