Roberta Gambarini & Tamir Hendelman

Roberta Gambarini and Tamir Hendelman are two of the most distinctive voices in contemporary jazz, united by a deep understanding of harmony, swing, improvisation, and the great American songbook.

Italian-born vocalist Roberta Gambarini has established herself as one of the leading jazz singers of her generation. A finalist in the 1998 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition, she moved to New York and quickly became a sought-after collaborator for many of the world’s foremost jazz musicians. Her extraordinary command of melody, rhythm, and scat singing has earned her three Grammy nominations, including for her albums Easy to Love and So in Love. Gambarini has performed and recorded with artists including Herbie Hancock, Hank Jones, Dizzy Gillespie, Roy Hargrove, James Moody, Toots Thielemans, and Christian McBride. Her singing combines remarkable technical precision with warmth, spontaneity, and a profound connection to the jazz tradition.
